Sarawak, Malaysia is currently seeking capable, self -
driven and energetic candidates experience in OIL & GAS,
Engineering design personnel for the following positions.

consultancy, established its Engineering Design office in
2006 is currently seeking capable multi-discipline
engineers and designers , self -driven and energetic
candidates, experience in OIL & GAS.
These engineering offices namely PUSB Engineering Sdn
Bhd (PESB) in Miri Sarawak, Malaysia and Petrokon
Utama Sdn Bhd (PUSB) located in Brunei Darussalam.
PESB is an affliated office of Petrokon Utama Sdn Bhd
(PUSB).


Piping Designer:
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or 2 years
Degree as a minimum with equivalent experience.
• Responsible for preparing as plant layout, general
arrangement drawings, mechanical and piping design
drawings
• Capable of working on a variety of projects, to
deliver design drawings and final construction/detail
drawings
• Able to comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Ensuring drawing packages are delivered within the
project time schedule.



Electrical Designer:
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or 2 years Degree
as a minimum with equivalent experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Equivalent
• Able to interpret technical drawings
• Able to prepare basic engineering drawings
• Capable of advanced engineering detail drafting and
checking
• To work without direct supervision and to be able
to provide advice and direction to others
• Trade experience would be advantageous

Instrument Designer:
Requirements:
• Diploma in Instrument Engineering or 2 years
Degree as a minimum with equivalent experience.
• Excellent 2D computer design skills with AutoCAD
• Excellent skills with Ms office package
• Able to interpret technical drawings
• Ability to create accurate design drawings from
base project information
• Able to establish and manage effective workplace
relationships
• Ability to interact effectively with people and use
clear, fluent and expressive verbal and written language to
convey information and ideas
• Knowledge of the requirements for Instrument
installations within hazardous areas.
• Some experience with 3D modeling systems such
as Intools PDMS
• Exposure to site surveys, construction or
commissioning support on O & G facilities.
• Trade experience would be advantageous
• Able to do Instrument Hook-ups

Civil/ Structural Designer:
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or 2 years
Degree as a minimum with equivalent experience.
• Experience wit Auto CAD
• To work without direct supervision and to be able
to provide advise and discretion to adhere
• Exposure to industrial facilities
Responsibilities:
• Execution of engineering design/drafting tasks
• Ensure work done meets all acceptance criteria with
respect to safety, quality, technical competency, cost and
schedule
• Monitor progress, budget and schedule
• Overall man-hour key performance indicators for
assigned work
• Conduct site investigations/surveys
• Prepare detail designs in conjunction with engineers
• Produce work packs, design & drawings, MTO’s,
weight calculations
• Checking of work packs & design drawings
packages
• Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate
for the complexity of the construction tasks
• Ensure work done conforms to applicable
specification, codes and standards
• Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues.
